Cacao Paste - Cacao Liquor (Criollo)

Cocoa trees produce pods, these pods contain 20 to 40 beans. The cocoa beans are fermented using a special process that prevents the temperature during fermentation from exceeding 40 degrees (but not heating). When cocoa is processed at high temperatures, some of these nutrients and antioxidants can be destroyed or broken down. By processing cocoa at low temperatures, more of these beneficial substances are retained, making the final product more nutritious. In addition, processing at low temperatures also helps to retain the natural flavor of cocoa, which can be lost or altered during processing at high temperatures. This results in a product that is not only more nutritious, but also has a more authentic and delicious taste. The cocoa beans are then dried in the sun, until there is only 3% moisture left in the beans. Finally, the beans are peeled and chopped, after which cocoa nibs, cocoa paste, cocoa butter or cocoa powder are made. Cocoa contains caffeine and theobromine. Preparing your cacao ceremony:

Choose your dosage: 10 grams = Normal dosage for daily enjoyment. 20 grams = Meditation dosage, ideal for quiet moments of reflection. 30 to 50 grams = Ceremonial dosage for a deep spiritual experience.
Add a warm liquid: Combine with water, plant-based milk (e.g. oat milk) or herbal tea. Tip: avoid boiling the liquid to preserve the essence of the cacao. In addition, cow's milk can also hinder the absorption of minerals.
Mix and beat to taste: Add delicious spices like Cayenne pepper, ceylon cinnamon, Vanilla, Rose or Lion's Mane come on.
